2012 MYW Package Details Released
Disney released ticket, room and package pricing for all of 2012 this past weekend, in an unprecedented move. Usually, this information is published in August, but with the popularity of booking dining reservations 6 months in advance, they’ve decided to make everything available for booking.
Other than some significant price increases, almost everything stayed the same, with a few exceptions related to the Dining Plans.
Beginning in January 2012, the Quick Service Plan will lose one snack credit. Studies have shown that most guests end up with several snack credits left on their cards when using this plan, so instead of raising the price, Disney just eliminated the extra snack.
As for the Basic Plan, Disney has finally decided to add the Resort Refillable Mug back. The Plan still comes with 1 Quick Service meal, 1 Table Service meal and 1 snack, but guests also get the mug. The price went up a few dollars as well.
The Deluxe Dining Plan stayed the same, but saw a price increase, as did the Premium and Platinum Plans.
All Magic Your Way tickets went up in price from anywhere between 3% and 11%. The Park Hopper and Water Park options went up $1, to $55.
Room rates increased slightly, but it’s anticipated that they’ll continue to offer discounts (even though they’ve threatened to stop) for the non-peak times of the year. Everyone should also keep an eye open for PIN offers, which are sent via mail or e-mail.
