Free Dining Has Arrived
The much anticipated Free Dining offer is finally available to the general public. The offer to Disney Visa cardholders was released on Friday, but now anyone may book their vacation and eat for free!
Guests staying at a Value Resort can add Quick Service Dining, while guests staying at a Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort can add Basic Dining.
You must check-in on or before October 2, 2010 to qualify, and your trip must be at least 3 nights long, with at least 2-Day tickets purchased.
Guests must book by August 14, for travel August 15 – October 2. If you wish to upgrade to another Dining Plan, you will just need to pay the difference. You may also add MYW options to your park tickets.
This offer may appear to be long-lasting, but rooms won’t be available for long with free food attached. Disney only allocates a certain block of rooms in each resort hotel for special offers, and with this one being so highly anticipated, these blocks are already being eaten up. Reports are that rooms at Port Orleans French Quarter, for late September, are already maxed out – with regard to Free Dining. You can still get a room there, but not with this offer.
The limited number of rooms was also significantly reduced because Disney also offered an extended Room-Only Discount valid for the same dates.
