Construction in Magic Kingdom

Everywhere you look there’s construction happening in the Magic Kingdom.

Tomorrowland has been a mess for quite some time, with the refurbishment of Space Mountain. They’re also bulldozing the old Skyway Station with the intent of turning it into a 1-story restroom building with a much smaller footprint.

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority (TTA) has been undergoing a refurbishment concurrent with Space Mountain’s, and is scheduled to re-open soon.  Other than some new lighting and a new narration, nothing will change for the TTA ride itself.

A bit west, the graphical tarps have gone up around the back side of the castle, in preparation for Phase 1 of the Castle’s facelift.  The Dream Lights installation was finished last week, making room for this “stone work” to begin.
